20/20 / ProKitchen Software Training
Hands-on catalog navigation, quoting workflows, specification best practices, and common error avoidance.
Getting Started
All Pinnacle Sales brands are available in both 20/20 Design and ProKitchen design software. Catalogs are maintained and updated by WW Wood Products. Every new dealer receives a live training webinar (approximately 90 minutes) within one week of their in-person product training to ensure your team is comfortable working in the software before your first order ships.
Catalog Setup
Downloading & Installing Catalogs
- Shiloh, Eclipse, and Aspect catalogs are available through your 20/20 or ProKitchen catalog manager
- Search for "Shiloh," "Eclipse," or "Aspect" in the manufacturer catalog library
- Always ensure you're running the latest catalog version — outdated catalogs may be missing new door styles, finishes, or pricing
- Catalog updates are released periodically; your Pinnacle rep or Gillian Patriquin will notify you when a new version is available
Catalog Structure
Each brand catalog is organized by cabinet type (base, wall, tall, vanity, accessories) with sub-categories for specific configurations. Within each cabinet, you'll select door style, finish, wood species, and any modifications. The software automatically applies pricing based on your selections.
Quoting Workflow
Step-by-Step Quoting Process
- Room layout — Build the room dimensions, windows, doors, and appliance locations
- Cabinet placement — Drop cabinets from the catalog, adjusting sizes as needed
- Specifications — Apply door style, finish, hardware, and any modifications to each cabinet or globally
- Review — Check the itemized list for accuracy: correct sizes, hinge direction, modifications, and finish consistency
- Export — Generate the order file and pricing summary for customer presentation
- Submit — Send the order to WW Wood Products; you'll receive an acknowledgment within 24 hours
Pricing in the Software
Catalog pricing reflects current list prices. Your dealer multiplier is applied at the time of order submission — the software quote gives you the list price, which you then multiply by your dealer discount factor for your cost. Customer pricing is at your discretion.
Common Errors & How to Avoid Them
Specification Errors
- Mismatched finishes — Double-check that all cabinets in a run share the same finish selection. The most common error is accidentally leaving one cabinet on the default finish after changing the rest.
- Hinge direction — Verify hinge side on every single-door cabinet. The software default may not match the design intent. Always review in elevation view.
- Wrong box depth on vanities — Confirm 21″ depth for vanities vs. 24″ for kitchen bases. Accidentally specifying kitchen-depth cabinets in a bathroom is surprisingly common.
- Missing fillers — Don't forget filler strips at walls, appliance openings, and where cabinets meet at corners. These are easily overlooked in the software but critical for installation.
Ordering Errors
- Outdated catalog — If a door style or finish appears unavailable, check whether your catalog needs updating before contacting support
- Custom modifications not noted — If you need a non-standard modification (custom depth, height, or feature), it must be specified in the order notes — the software fields alone may not capture it
- Order corrections after submission — Send corrections immediately to orders@wwinc.com. The sooner you catch an error, the easier it is to fix before production begins
Tips & Best Practices
Efficiency Tips
- Use global spec changes — Apply door style and finish to the entire project first, then adjust individual exceptions. Much faster than specifying each cabinet individually.
- Save templates — If you frequently design similar layouts (e.g., a standard 10×10 kitchen), save them as templates to jump-start new projects.
- Elevation views for review — Always review your design in elevation (front) view before finalizing. Plan view hides hinge direction errors and vertical alignment issues.
- Name your projects consistently — Use a standard naming convention (e.g., "LastName_Address_Date") so you can find past projects quickly.
