W.W. Wood Products published the Bridged Door option — a no-charge modification in both Shiloh and Eclipse on base cabinets with full-height doors. It's one of the easiest ways to make a standard cabinet look furniture-built without adding a dollar to the quote.

What a bridged door is

A bridged door looks like a drawer stack, or a drawer front over a door, but operates as one full-height door. The client gets the look of drawers with the single-door access they actually need — for plumbing, bulky items, or a clean appliance front.

  • Available in Full Overlay / Frameless, Inset, and Modern Inset.
  • No upcharge per door.
  • Upcoming catalogs will add three new custom vanity tall cabinets with bridged doors, and bridged doors will be available on most cabinet SKUs.

Where dealers are using them

  • Vanity bases — single-door access behind what reads as a drawer base. Plumbing stays easy to reach.
  • Lower full-height doors on pantries and linen cabinets — the look of a bank of drawers.
  • Dishwasher front panels — the panel matches the adjacent drawer stack.
  • Door-style end panels on base cabinets — carry the drawer-line rhythm around the end of an island or run.

Spec notes

  • Available on standard vanity and base full-height door cabinets.
  • Doors up to 24″ wide.
  • Door and drawer-front styles must match, with the 700 Edge.
  • Not available with Mitered, Metro, Slab, or Sculpted doors and drawer fronts.
  • For other applications, contact Shiloh Quotes.

Why it matters

Clients notice drawer lines. A vanity or pantry that reads as stacked drawers looks more custom than a plain door — and with bridged doors that look is free. Make it your default suggestion on vanity sink bases and dishwasher panels.
