W.W. Wood Products has introduced a brand-new item: the Radius End Panel, delivered as a full lineup of Radius Columns. Each column puts a 3″ radius on the end of a run — wall, base, vanity, utility, or peninsula — for the softened, furniture-style look designers have been asking for. Until now the usual answer was a custom shop.
The production sample: a cutaway of the construction (left) and the finished curved end in white oak (right).
How it works
A Radius Column is a 3″ wide piece with a 3″ radius on its outside corner. You place it at the end of a cabinet run, in place of a square finished end, and order it as a Left or Right column depending on which end of the run it finishes.
The cutaway on the sample shows a plywood panel finished with a solid-wood quarter-round that forms the curve, so the radius is shaped wood rather than a bent or wrapped surface. On the finished faces, the grain carries around the curve with the rest of the panel.
The lineup and list pricing
List prices as of W.W. Wood's 8/27/2026 updated pricing. Apply your multiplier for net. In each SKU, the number in parentheses is the height (or height range) and the last number is the depth — for example, RPBC(34 1/2)-36 is a 34½″ tall, 36″ deep peninsula base column.

Spec rules to know before you draw it
- Finished sides. Non-peninsula radius columns are finished on the face and 2 sides. Peninsula columns (RPBC) are finished on all 4 sides — use them where the back of the column is exposed.
- Toe kick. Utility, base, and vanity columns come standard with a flush toe kick.
- Wall heights. A "30″" wall column is actually 30½″ tall — draw it that way so the bottom line matches the adjacent wall cabinets.
- Vanity height. Vanity columns are standard 30½″ tall. If you're using vanity-tall cabinets, you must specify it.
- Depth limit on tall columns. Radius columns over 42″ tall have a maximum depth of 30″.
- Inset (Shiloh). Inset wall radius columns specified at 12″ (or 15″) deep are built 13″ (or 16″) deep as standard.
Modifications
- Width: structural modifications are not available.
- Height: structural modifications are available — pricing on spec book page C1.
- Depth: may be reduced at no upcharge. Depth over the standard depth carries an upcharge.
The spec sheet
These columns are new enough that some dealers haven't found them in their spec book yet. Keep this page handy, or ask your Pinnacle Sales rep for the PDF.
Where to use it
- Island and peninsula ends — the most common place a hard corner gets bumped, and the most visible place to soften the room. The four-side-finished RPBC is built for exactly this.
- Vanities — a radius end turns a standard vanity into a furniture piece.
- The end of a wall run — a radius column on the last wall cabinet reads as intentional millwork, especially next to a window or open shelving.
- Pantry and utility walls — RUC columns carry the curve the full height of a tall run.
- Pairing: rounded ends and Pacifica's radius moulding share the same soft-modern language.
Need something the standard columns don't cover — a different radius, or a curved island end? Send a drawing through your rep. W.W. Wood will review it, and there's always a chance they can accommodate it.
