Face-Frame vs Frameless on a Dealer Floor
Shiloh and Eclipse. Same factory. Two constructions. One finish library.
If you are a custom shop — or you just left a box line — start on Shiloh. Face-frame and inset is the construction those clients already buy. Add Eclipse when you need frameless without a second factory.
Same factory, two boxes
Both lines are built by WW Wood Products in Dudley, Missouri. Same plywood story, same paint program, same roughly six-week lead. Shiloh is face-frame and inset — six inset styles, no upcharge versus a typical Eclipse overlay. Eclipse is frameless full-access: wider drawer openings, full-overlay doors, up to 15% more usable interior in the same footprint. Door styles, species, and finishes match. You are not re-learning a second manufacturer’s color deck.
How to merchandize it
- Shiloh vignette — inset or face-frame. Traditional, transitional, furniture-grade. This is the “American kitchen” close.
- Eclipse vignette — frameless, tight reveals. Contemporary and European-look work that still wants a Missouri lead time.
- One sample wall — finishes and door cuts shared across both. Designers move a client from construction to finish without leaving the board.
Where Pronorm and Aspect fit
Pronorm is a different conversation: German fitted, nationwide, American depths, typical install $40,000–$150,000+. Do not position it as “Eclipse from Germany.” Aspect is the WW Wood value line when the bid will not carry Shiloh or Eclipse. All six public brands are mapped on one showroom, six lines.

Dealer FAQs
What is the difference between Shiloh and Eclipse?
Shiloh is face-frame and inset. Eclipse is frameless (full-access). Both are built by WW Wood Products in Missouri — same factory, similar quality, comparable pricing, and the same door styles, wood species, and finishes. Lead time is about six weeks on both.
Why put both on one dealer floor?
Clients split on construction. Traditional, farmhouse, and inset work stays on Shiloh. Contemporary and full-overlay work stays on Eclipse. One factory means one finish library, one paint program, and one lead-time story.
Is Pronorm the same as Eclipse?
No. Eclipse is American frameless from WW Wood. Pronorm is a German fitted kitchen — nationwide, different platform, different ticket. Typical Pronorm install $40,000–$150,000+.
Where does Aspect sit?
Aspect is the value WW Wood line for builder and bid work. Same factory family, fewer customization and color choices. Use it when the job will not carry Shiloh or Eclipse.
Do frameless cabinets take longer to install?
Frameless wants a plumb, square opening — there is no face frame to hide a gap. Eclipse and Pronorm both assume that discipline. Train the crew once; do not treat frameless as a surprise on install day.
